Harriet holds an Associate Degree in Health Sciences from Collin College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management at Western Governors University. Professionally, she works with UnitedHealth Group as a Provider Data Analyst, where part of her work involves helping veterans secure medical appointments needed in the processing of their medical claims. But the heart behind BCH is deeply personal. As a young girl, Harriet experienced hardships that made many of the dreams she had for her future.Those experiences helped shape her vision of BCH. Today, Harriet is passionate about reaching families and young people who may be facing similar barriers. Through BCH, meeting an immediate need, is only the beginning. It is a bridge to building relationships, hearing people's stories, understanding the barriers they face, and connecting them to mentorship, education, trade-school opportunities, and other pathways toward a more sustainable future. For Harriet, the mission is simple: restore dignity, bring hope, and help create opportunities that can lead to lasting impact in the lives of individuals, families, and communities.	View
